It contains no additives or preservatives and as such this salt does not supply iodine a necessary nutrient. As such it may stick together a bit when humid. In my mind this pure salt is the best you can buy and the off-white color and sometimes sticky nature of it enhances the value in my mind and assures me that this is as close to nature and the way the Phoenicians harvested it thousands of years ago as anything you can buy in a store today.
